In Created To Win, Conditioned To Lose, Dr. Dwayne L. Buckingham shares his heartfelt life story about growing up in one of the toughest and most impoverished neighborhoods in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised in extreme poverty and was exposed to violence, drugs, crime, murder, and death. Due to his horrible living conditions and dangerous environment, Dr. Buckingham developed a loser’s mindset and navigated through life believing that his life was meaningless. But, through self-discipline, sacrifice, prayer, selflessness, and perseverance, Dr. Buckingham became the first doctor in his family, built a six-figure consulting business, and retired from active-duty service after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force and the United States Public Health Service.

Dr. Buckingham’s remarkable story reveals an emotional truth about life for all of us.
